1. Processing personal data

When you visit ppi Media GmbH's website, our web servers automatically record your Internet service provider, the websites from which you visit us and those you look at while on our site, as well as the date and duration of your visit.

This data is evaluated for statistical purposes only; it is not assigned to a particular person. Personal data that you transmit to ppi Media GmbH is recorded and used in accordance with the current provisions of the Federal German Data Protection Act [Bundesdatenschutzgesetz]. Data processing is carried out solely for the purpose of executing the contract, mailing our newsletter or contacting you. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties. By using our website, you consent to our saving the personal data transmitted by you and to our processing and using it, taking this privacy statement into account.
ppi Media GmbH saves information of relevance for data privacy solely on secured systems in Germany. Only a very few people, who are obliged to observe data privacy, are authorized to access it. ppi Media GmbH's employees, in particular those working directly with customers, receive regular training on data privacy and are committed by us to maintaining data confidentiality.

 

2. Visiting our homepage

We use cookies and the analysis tools Piwik and Google Analytics for marketing purposes. The cookie on ppi Media's homepage is not capable of identifying you on the analysis provider's website. You can configure your browser in such a way that it refuses to accept cookies or informs you before a cookie is saved. For further information, please check your browser's operating manual.
The data collected by Piwik is saved exclusively on ppi Media's own servers and not disclosed to third parties. Google Analytics uses cookies that are saved on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of this website. The IP address that Google Analytics transmits from your browser is not merged by Google with other data. All email traffic to the email addresses set out on our homepage will be transmitted in an unencrypted form.

 

3. Online applications

If you send us an online application, your documents will be transmitted in an encrypted form, saved in our internal application system and not transferred to third parties. Applications that are sent by email will be deleted five months after having been saved.

 

4. Social Media plugins

On our website, we use social plugins by Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and XING. If you click on the Facebook, Twitter and Google+ plugins, your browser will link to the appropriate servers. Facebook, Twitter and Google+ then know that your IP address has called up the corresponding page for our homepage.

5. Usage and access data

In addition to your email address, further access data may be saved by ppi Media GmbH when you request a file from our download section. Each requested data record consists of the page from which the file was requested, the file name, date and time of the download, amount of data transferred, access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.) as well as the browser used.

 

6. Further information

We require your contact data if you would like to receive information offered on the website or download certain information. At any time, you may revoke your consent that ppi Media GmbH saves your data and email address and uses this to send the requested information.
